Venice’s token keeps running and, for once, the price is not the only interesting figure. Alongside the quote, the usage numbers emerge: credits consumed, sign-ups, revenue burned. They are the part that tells you whether the narrative holds.

The W40 report

The weekly W40 report from the analysis account @venicestats — a third-party, unofficial observer — paints a picture of growth: VVV at 29.93 dollars on a weekly basis (+2.7 per cent), AskVenice credit consumption at a channel high of about 2,601 per day, sign-ups up 20.1 per cent to 17,487, the sixth consecutive week of gains. These are figures declared by an outside analyst and should be read as such: no confirmation comes from Venice, whose official blog has published nothing since 29 September.

The market numbers

On the market VVV hovers between 29.4 and 29.7 dollars. CoinGecko quotes it at 29.71 (+7 per cent in 24 hours), DefiLlama at 29.50-29.54, CoinStats at 29.38 (+5.99 per cent). The market capitalisation is about 1.42-1.44 billion, daily volume between 30 and 33 million. The all-time high is 34.53 dollars, reached on 21 September 2026: the token is roughly 14 per cent below that level, but is up 4.4 per cent over seven days and 62.6 per cent over thirty.

Where the value lies

VVV is not a governance token: it is staked for yield, and locked staking (sVVV) mints DIEM, Venice’s API credit. Every staked DIEM is worth one dollar a day of inference credit; the yield is 80 per cent to the staker and 20 per cent to Venice, with a seven-day wait to unlock. Since 1 October annual emissions have fallen to 2 million VVV. DefiLlama counts only the on-chain buy-and-burn as revenue: about 842,000 dollars over the last thirty days, 3.66 million on an annual basis. Everything else — subscriptions, API, credits — settles off-chain and leaves no trace on the blockchain.

Conclusion

A token that rises 62 per cent in a month tells you about expectation, not use. The part that matters is the other one: working out whether credit consumption and sign-ups will keep growing once the enthusiasm has cooled, and whether the buy-and-burn will manage to outpace new emissions.

Note: the protocol’s TVL value reported by the radar (about 2.02 billion dollars) could not be verified — DefiLlama reports TVL of zero with about 1.009 billion VVV staked — and is therefore not carried over into the text.
